Bilingual

I've been struck recently how not only has Taiyo's English language skills expanded rapidly but his cognitive awareness about language is forming.

He now speaks to people in the language he perceives they understand. This is a big change from as recently as February when he was trying to explain show-and-tell in Japanese at his English-speaking Preschool.

But its more than a conscious choice - its buried deep in the senses. This little moment in a cafe recently really hammered that home for me - as he displays his full range of feelings about "Superfood".
